Made from 100% Azul, aka Blue Weber (Agave tequilana) harvested from the La Loma rancho in Villamar, MichoacƔn
Cooked in masonry steam ovens; crushed using a combination of 70% steel roller mill and 30% traditional stone tahona
Agaves crushed by roller mill are fermented in stainless steel tanks; tahona-crushed agaves are fermented naturally using ambient yeast in open-air wooden tanks
Distilled twice using stainless steel pot stills
Rested 3 months in exābourbon barrels
Tangerine, canella, and lemongrass on the nose with roasted agave, salted caramel, anise, and cantaloupe on the palate

The La Loma rancho, located 1,540 meters above sea level in the mountainous municipality of Villamar, yields mature agave with a high brix level of 38%.
